Our Heroku Add-on Partner Account Managers are charged with driving velocity, building scale and routinely going above and beyond to ensure partner and customer success.
Responsibilities of a Partner Account Manager:
Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets by growing business in named accounts
Lead and drive a shared vision with longstanding and significant partners in the Salesforce Heroku ecosystem
Generate new revenue opportunities through existing Add-ons with new offerings, new markets and joint pursuits
Work cross functionally across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales and Finance, internally and externally
Manage and report business through accurate forecasting, stakeholder updates and quarterly business reviews
Quarterback an integrated account team with technical and support leads
Desired Experience and Skills of a Partner Account Manager:
3-5 years of solution sales experience with technology partners (OEM, ISV and/or SaaS platforms/solutions)
Track record of over-achieving revenue based quota in past positions
Ability to articulate a clear, concise return on investment to internal and external stakeholders
Sales methodology training, Salesforce CRM and G Suite all a plus
Strong customer/partner references
Top tier account planning, sales execution and territory management
C-level presence across Product, Business Development, Sales, Marketing and Finance
Negotiating complex agreements, navigating multifaceted partnerships and managing channel conflict
Strong business and technical aptitude for the Salesforce platform, APIs and relevant external services
