As a Product Manager, you are responsible for the success of our Asure Evolution and Asure Force- suite of products. Increasing the profitability of the products; through sales and marketing initiatives, and also by developing new features and enhancements that advance our market share. You will lead both strategically and tactically in our organization.
You will build and groom enhancements that come from the field- working with our service team's data. Uncover market needs and gaps- advocate existing ideas for enhancements and develop new products, or new markets increasing your ROI. Your HCM (Human Capital Management) SaaS industry expertise, customer and competitor knowledge will drive product success. Spending time in the market analyzing our competitors' landscape to understand the challenges that the industry faces, and to provide solution recommendations to all levels of leadership. You will leverage your unique blend of business and technical savvy, big-picture product vision, and the drive to make profitable products more profitable.
* Manage the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities to product end-of-life. * The internal and external subject matter product expert, an advocate for the customer: collaborating with the sales channel and key customers to identify the best product roadmap. Balancing business needs with technical requirements, and alternative technical approaches. * Identify market requirements for current and future products through market research and trends, customers, potential customers, and competitive products. * Oversee the product backlog (grooming, prioritization and refinement), working day-to-day with the product SCRUM teams to clarify needs, identify and define product release requirements. * Coordinate product roadmap reporting, including P+L, revenue, product success and failures. * Develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan, and execute the plan with all departments. Define the go-to-market strategy, product positioning, key benefits, and target customers. * Analyze potential partner relationships for the product to advance our understanding of the market and our position in it * Create and review business and functional requirements as well as defect tickets.
What I will bring
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field. * Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship, as we are unable to sponsor or transfer Visas at this time. * 3+ years of software marketing and product management experience. * Extensive knowledge of the HCM industry and HCM technologies, including deep experience in HR, Payroll, Time and Attendance. * Proven analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills. * Previous experience in producing product business cases and market analysis reporting for both internal and external use. * Able to provide samples of work in new product- buy- build- or partner product business cases. * Proven ability to continuously keep abreast on changing marketing trends and dynamics. * Have deep customer insights, and capable of prioritizing requirements based on client and business needs. * Data driven, using existing internal, market data, and forecasting to provide continued product success. * Persuasive, collaborative, with negotiating skills that contribute to consensus building and cross-discipline team cooperation. * Likes to travel, you will need to regularly be with teams located in Burlington VT, Traverse City MI, Austin, TX, and Tampa FL. * Practical experience with: A-ha, Jira, Prodpad, Agile Scrum Methodology, Team Foundation Server, Team Support
